About Cha's
Cha’s Café & Atelier is a coffee shop, art studio, and creative gathering place in Denver’s Santa Fe Art District.
Created by local visual artist Cha and run alongside her partner AJ, a local musician and coffee enthusiast, Cha’s brings together the things they love most: great coffee, art, music, creativity, and good people.
The café is an extension of Cha’s artistic practice. From the colors on the walls to the furniture, artwork, playful details, and overall atmosphere, the space was designed by Cha as an expression of her creative world — a place where art isn’t just something hanging on the walls, but part of the experience.
Behind the bar, AJ brings his passion and knowledge of coffee, with a focus on quality, simplicity, and making every drink really well. Together, Cha and AJ wanted to create the kind of neighborhood spot they would want to spend time in themselves: warm, welcoming, a little unexpected, and full of personality.
Coming later this fall, the Atelier will be Cha’s working art studio — and everyone is invited in. Rather than creating behind closed doors, Cha wanted a studio where the creative process could be shared. You might stop by and see a new painting taking shape, join a workshop, make something of your own, discover another local artist, or come for a creative gathering, exhibition, or night of music.
It’s a café you can visit every day, an art studio you’re allowed to step inside, and a space that will keep evolving as new things are created within it.
